thats gonna be one expensive *** swap man. not a lot of aftermarket support yet (compared to the b-series motors). did i mention it'll be expensive?

check out k20.org, lots of good info there. GL!

If you go K20 make sure you get the JDM tranny. USDM tranny is ***.

I personally thing your better of with the B18C5. Just build your C5, sell your charger and by a turbo kit for the B18.

I dont know a whole lot about boost, but when I hear "turbo", Greddy or XS Engineering always comes to mind.

There's no way a K20 motor is selling for 2g's unless ur getting a base model that has ridiculous amount of km's on it or its stolen.

Why not just sell the supercharger and turbo the itr motor instead. Makes a lot more sense. Most of the power that the K20 offers is from the bigger displacement engine.

The fastest civics in the country right now are turboed B motors. That has to tell you something about the performance potential of the B motor.

Though the most reliable way to go faster is to lose weight. Strip everything out of it that you don't need to go fast - stereo, rear seats - then put in lighter doors, fenders, hood, glass, everything. You'll find you'll go faster and have less wear on the engine, tires and brakes. Win-win.

Most likley it's hot, but a friend of mine got a k20 for $2500 and 95% sure it was legit with papers. But the install and mounting kit is expensive. Like I said before in a previous thread, I'm not a fan of K20's and they go for pretty cheap cause many people seem not to like them either.

As RRRex stated as well, most people running at the track have B series motors. I'd stick with the C5 anyday over a K20.

Forget changing your motor man , just change your blower!

yea...instead of spendining the 2 g's on the k20, and another i dont know, lets say 1g to install with the special mounts and such, you could use that 3 g's, plus selling your blower to build the itr for boost!!!

why would u say many ppl seem to not like them, that just sounds like bullshit to me, they respond pretty well to mods. The only reason i can see too many ppl not buying them is cuz their a bitch to install on a B series car, not that many ppl wanna give up luxuries such as power steering and A/C.

OK So I keep the ITR motor, what do you think it will cost me for a good custom turbo kit ?? What do you recommend for a turbo ?? and finally what do you recommend for building the engine.

I currently run 9psi 13.6 @ 106 but I want more

Thanks again you guys are great

Yes they respond well to mods. I will agree. So does the B series though, especially the C5. And I'm not talking about people on this board or other boards when I say many people. I'm talking about my own friends, numourous contacts, colleagues etc. that live for this ---- and spend 5-10K minimum on building and machining their race motors.

k20a2/3 suck *** -- dont even bother with them. seriously, if you were gonna do a k swap, might as well go all out and get a k20r, those r0x0rz.
