Default Gearbox Issues

so im looking into to buying this 94 integra but is has some issues...one of them being something to do with the gearbox...

the guy who's selling it is saying that the car wont shift into gear when the RPMs are very high (3000+) especially in 2nd gear. Is it the shifter bushings? clutch? tranny oil needs to be changed? or the gearbox itself? I'm kinda new to manual transmissions and i don't know much about these things. if anyone has heard of this sorta thing please let me know if the problem is major or not. your help is much appreciated.

IF you are not very familiar with it.. bring the car to a mechanic.

Do you really want to buy a vehicle that has that kind of problem only to spend more than you think it would cost you. ?

It is most likely a worn out synchro and will require you to rebuild the transmission more than likely which is over $1000.
