Default Gas Issue

Hopefully you guys can help me, a fellow co-worker of mine has a 1996 Prelude SR, has done a engine swap (JDM h22a VTEC).
Problem is once the outside temperture gets hot (climate) he gets gas fumes pretty badly inside his car, as well as at rare times his car misses on accerleration as if gas was not being consumed.

Or if anyone knows a good shop to investigate these problems.

Thanx

Look for leaking fuel rail, injectors, fuel tank, fuel lines, fuel rturn, fuel filter, basically every thing to do with fuel including gas cap, this could happen because the cap is worn out and pressure is escaping due to heat as things would expand.
Hope this helps
