cylinder misfire
i have started to hate my teg. lol anyways...my engine came on today and detected cylinder 3 misfire. i am assuming spark plugs need to be replaced along rotor and distributor. i have the car for about a year now and i have not changed spark plugs until now and sure if previous owner did it either. the question is, is it a good idea to buy the NGK Platinum spark plugs and NGK wires? do u guys think i shall replace distributor and rotor as well at the same time? what advices can you guys give me on distributor, rotor and spark plugs?
thank you

start with plugs. if you wanna be sure of what plug to use, look on the sticker on the under side of your hood. it'll give you the NGK part number. make sure they're gapped correctly too

isn't gapping iridium plugs bad since you can destroy the electrode?
Personally i've had the best sucess on the dyno with copper core NGK's.
I prefer OEM plug wires, cap and rotor. NGK would be my next choice if price was an issue b/c OEM stuff can be expensive.

yeah if you need to gap them use side cutters to pry it up because those tips are super sensitive
