craking /wining noise

Default craking /wining noise

hey guys just from last night to today my dc2 teg has been making a noise very similar to one when a scritching door opens when i turn and its only coming from my passenger side wheel area anyone kno what it could be i think? its gotten louder from yesterday.....

sounds like a siezed ball joint. i get it looked at very soon. siezed ball joints will snap and will more than likely rip apart your axle and damage the fender among other things.
been through it once before.

A lower ball joint isn't that expensive, but if it breaks...you @$^$#@

24 dollars for one at cdn tire, 22 dollars national exhaust or 26 dollars from napa

Don't buy the cheap ones. i've bought white box ones before and they squeaked.

i recently changed almost evrything in my suspension including both drive shafts and and both lower ball joints its starting to do it as i drive in a straight line two do u guys still think its the ball joint???? ps. the sounds came out of nowhere and got very loud very quick and i have 17 inch rims on ...if thats any help

does it squeak only when you in over a bump? if not, it might not be the ball joints but i'd look into the brakes or the wheel bearings as a possible cause

no it squeaks about 90% of the timew that i turn my steering wheel and makes a little bit of noise when i drive and go over a small bump and such and no my rims and have winter tires on them long story ill post about that

yea that was the problem it was low although it was something i suspected earlier on but since the noise only came from one wheel i just kind of ruled it out thanx guys
