Default cracking noise in front end???

I drive a 1991 civic HB and sometimes i hear a little crack or shake in the front end. could it be the ball joint??? what you think??? Also, bought 2005 civic Si rims off my friend in exchange for my ugly *** isuzu rims and $250. When i had the isuzu rims on my car, @ 90 km/h the car would start to rattle. Now yesterday we went on the gardiner and he was doing 130 with my rims and he didnt get no shake. WTF??? My friend said i need an alignment but the car doesnt drift to 1 side. Loose axle, needs new motor mounts? What could it be???

could be anything check ur tie rods and maybe the rims and tires u gave him weren't balanced properly in the front and he prolly put the fronts in his rears....it would be a good idea for u too get ur control arms, balljoints and tie rods checked

I took it to auto illusionz and my buddy said its the drivers side C.V. shaft, and both upper control arms (with ball joint)
