Clutch Question
i recently swaped my Ls tranny to a GSR ys1 tranny and i have to swithc the clutch casuse the spline wont slide on cause its different, the question i have is , i have a stage 2 Competition Clutch and a Clutch masters presure plate i was just wondering if i can use the presure plate on that clutch disc ,

yes, the only difference is the clutch disk itself, the spline is different. All b-series flywheels and pressure plates are interchangeable. The pressure plate bolts to the flywheel and the flywheel to the crankshaft, the clutch disk rides on the input shaft of the tranny, so you'll need one that fits the tranny, the pressure plate doesn't matter as long as its b-series.

90-91 B18A1 = S1 tranny
92-93 B18A1 = YS1 Tranny
92-93 B17A1 = YS1 Tranny (closer gear ratio)
Like knd4yrii already stated, the YS1 clutches wont interchange with the S1 or the other way around. Hope this helps.

so i got all together todai runs good and shifts into gear like butter good short gears , only problem was that my clutch cable was so tight i could hardly mount it on the bracket and i also had to turn it all the way up does any one know why this could be ? could it be that the 93 Gsr has a longer clutch cable ?
