Default Carbon Fibre Hoods

Hi guys just had a quick question hopefully with a quick answer, but does anyone have any experience with the Option Jdm Carbon Fibre hoods, and how would they compare to something like Siebon or VIS technically, they seem the same but does anyone have any experience with them?

i don't have experience with the hoods you list. mine is a fiberimages hood and it weighs only 13lbs compared to the oem hood at 35lbs. they are only one ply of cf so they are super light. they are indestructible. i've seen video of people jumping on them, droping wheels on them and driving over them! all that was done was a small scratch, it sprung back into the original shape. www.fiberimages.com

I have one, it fits perfect on both sides. You just gotta adjust it from side to side.. its got a little bit of play.

My buddy Nolan has a "aero" Carbon hood from option on his CRX, it's a POS. Most carbon hoods don't fit properly, but his is extra sad.

the ONLY place where a CF hood should not fit right is on the driver side along the fender. the reason being is that the hood prop holds that side up. i was told that on a hot day or after you drive the car for a while, to put something heavy on a rag and put it on the hood and it will form back down.

Seibon is good for sure better then VIS

I get my CF from CFtech in hamilton , they are making my hood right now. I"ve had great fitment with them, everything lined up perfect and they put high quality parts into it so i've gone back to buy another as my recent one got damaged from a fender bender
