Default car starting woes (firing order)

Hello

I am having a problem figuring out why i can't start my car-

i replaced the wires and spark plugs to new ones cap and rotor also. followed the firing order and now the car does not start.

can anyone correct me if i am wrong on my firing order - 1,3,4,2 for the cap and the engine goes 1234 right to left.

I checked my battery and its alive, but i feel im not getting a spark somewhere

I must of screwed something up

any insight would be well appreciated

does it start at all or even try to or just endlessly crank?

I did the same thing as you replaced plugs, wires, cap and rotor and it blew the coil...took me a while to figure it out. Apprently new cap/rotor/wires can overload the coil in a way. Might not be it in your case but it sounds 100% like mine.

You can measure the resistance on the primary and secondary coils and see if they are in spec and you will know if its the coil.

Good Luck
