Bogging problem?

Default Bogging problem?

Hey i have a problem with my car.. you know that hesitation feeling u might get if ur driving slow in first gear then u let off the gas? well i get that feeling seomtiems when im giving some gas in second and sometimes even third.. ill be giving gas but the car wont accelerate and itll just hesitate hesitate and then ppop back and drive normally... im not sure what the problem there is.. is it a wiring problem? let me know

bad spark maybe? did you check your dizzy, rotor, wires, plugs?

yeah i had the same problem with my civic dx and everytime i pressed the gas it wouldnt accelarate and outta knowwhere it would come alive..lol.. i just swaped out the motor .. my car had 250000 km ...

ya i bought the car with a b20 swap already done to it.. so im not sure if it was just a wiring problem or something else.. other then that the engine runs amazing so i know its not a bad engine

just like what was said before, check you plugs/wires/cap/rotor, also check to see if you have any riped or broken vacuun lines.

Also when it starts bogging how is the rpm gauge? I had similar problem, the needle would get twitchy, I replaced wires/plugs/rotar/cap and it went away. Problem came back again after some time and was forced to replace the dizzy. Now the car runs beautiful.

If none of the above fixes your issue, then replace your fuel filter... slow fuel delivery when demand is high will cause the same issue (but generally only affects performance during high RPM operation).

If you havn't replaced it in, say, the last 48,000km's (2 years) then i'd consider replacing it regardless.
