I HAVE A 96 LS
hey im starting a log on my current build. I have ordered a JDM b18c1 engine + tranny with 63400 km on them both ( i got to see a preview of a diff b18c1 + dash & asked the head mechanic at option jdm )
my current mods:
magnaflow big bore catback / straight pipe ( no cat.)
aem cai , with knn airfilter
ngk plugs , wires
interstate battery
video clip of me reving it in the winter

good luck finding a type R tranny
i think spoon only have one set of cam for b series, they don't have any race cam for public,
competition clutch is fine, they cheap and not bad
type R IM won't fit your head, you better off a skunk2,IB or performer X.
bored to 2L? forget the B18C and go straight to K20
if you really do the above mods, i say you looking around 180-190whp (spoon cam) the max

but im getting a JDM gsr engine + gsr tranny with a limited slip differential
and the dyno charts from buddy club on the racing spec !!! cams are a 14hp gain , so i imagine the racing spec IV cams are a bit better , and im going with racing spec IV cam gears
integra type r manifold so my current intake fits on , as well as my headers will bolt on , my exaust ,
NGK wires , plugs
im also going to get a vtec controller with a racing chipped ECU

im buying everything ...... every engine part , i just didnt type it all geeze..........once the engines built ill move on to a garett t3 , then avon slicks

by the sounds of it, you're gonna build the motor like an N/A and then just slap on a turbo. :s 15psi with 11+ compression ratio and n/a cams? i wanna be there when this engine pops.

1) An ITR manifold will work on your GSR
2) A vtec controller with a "racing chipped ecu" (what the ---- is this???) will do anything without having someone competent tune it
3) think you will be eating supras

If your building it for turbo, why dont you just rebuild your stock b18b for turbo. It would save you money that you could put towards other thing. Like a tru standalone and some serious dyno time. Or a quaiffe LSD for your LS tranny.
You also put spoon sport racing cams in your first post. Those are not cams ment for a turbo set-up.

but fine dont ban me cuz ti is sick & right now i have the LS , in 2 months or less iill have the b18c1 , 2 months after , EVERY engine mod needed , ill drive around n get used to it b4 i slap on a giant turbo n get mad hp.

your gonna get stage 4 cams? and aturbo kit? and a bored block? dude your trying to 2 different directions at once.
You gotta make a choice whether you want your car NA or turbo. then you decide on your build upon that decision.
Ill betcha 100 bucks once you empty your bank account on that b18c swap you wont be gettin no turbo kit. not for a while anyway.
