alright guys so im looking for a swap right now..my ls has 367000 km on it and doesnt seem to have a problem however a swap would be needed eventually..i have read all the forums: honda-tech and team integras..every1 has different says on all set ups..so im asking u guys since u guys r from around here and what u guys suggest and have on ur cars..i want 230-250 whp..i think 250whp is too much already for the street in an integra..gsrs r pretty pricey and i want vtec thats why i considered the b16 and i have no intention in doing a ls/vtec..thanks for the inputs in advance guys!!

 

Honestly man 230-250 WHP is big numbers for an NA B18C etc, you'd probably be most happy boosting a b18b as the bang per buck is best. I have many friends with boosted cars, if I had to choose between the two I'd just go boost. B18bs can be had for cheaper then b16a's anyway. Ontop of which an LS compression ratio is way lower then an b16. But too each is own, good luck on your choice!

 

When/if the motor pops, could be in 5 years lol, I would rebuild your original B18b and boost it. Might be hard though to find a mechanic that can do a quality job for a decent price. Might cost you around $3k (on the low side) with tuning/dyno

too weak, that might have been ok 10 years ago, but today almost any 4door family car is faster lol

 

fine~ go with K24 + K20A tran then turbo it

H2B turbo might be another route if you want something Fast~
