Default Anyone with Rsx seats in an integra ???

Did anyone do this swap, I tried doing it today and i was just simply going to drill new holes for the ones that dont fit, but the problem is that the seats sit soooo high is this normal anyway of making them sit lower ????

Yeah I have em in my car. The seats do sit higher (haven't done any research to find rails that will allow it to sit lower yet). I bought the seats with custom made brackets on each corner of the seat which aligns properly with the holes in the floor of the integra.

I'm putting them into my 93 but I will be swapping the rails so they sit at factory height.

I did some reading and in order to take out the rails you have to grind them out where they are spot welded, is this true, I don't want them sitting so high, Jeep_DB how are you planning on swapping the rails, onelankan are they almost touching the ceiling of the car maybe an inch of gap ???

Yeah I read about that as well. There's probably about an inch or a little more of gap from the roof. If you tilt the seats forward (to get into the back seats) the top of the seat actually touches the roof.

But I still love the seats I'm planning on figuring a way this summer to get em to sit lower...but till then there fine.

They aren't spot welded, they are riveted.
My DA rails are only bolted to the factory DA seats.

I've drilled out a few of the rivets but that was a bitch, going to get my jig saw from my parents place and cut the rest of the rivets off.
I'll make a how to post.

Yup, it should, I'm actually going to try and get them to sit a bit lower on the driver's side, if not both sides.

I'll also be wiring up the **** warmers

You aren't drilling out the RSX rails. Least I was not able too.
My Rip Saw with some demo blades made quick work of the rivets though.

Putting my seats in today, will post a how to and link it when finished.

Alright, I'm on my unionized coffee break so I'll post an update.

I've got the rails mounted on the driver side seat w00t! Next up is the passenger side and then reassembly and bolting them back into the car.

The only way to make rsx seats sit low like da's is to cut an inch off of the seat frame and re weld it

ls/vtec is right and that's what I might do.

Also my driver side rail isn't lock in place. Work in progress people and it's facking snowing so I won't be messing with it anymore.

It's common for them not to lock in unless you put the seat all the way back. As for the cutting its not that bad but it is a day project lol

I'm wondering if I can use passenger side rails on the driver side of my car. Since they have locks on both sides.

It's not work it's fun. Besides, I like messing with ---- like this.

my problems should be solved regarding the height. what do you mean it doesnt want to lock in ?

On the drivers side rail there is only a lock on one of the rails, the one by the center console. The other rail does not have a lock.

The passenger side as locks on both sides, once you grab the adjuster it opens both locks so the seat can slide.

I'm wondering if S2000 seats might sit lower.

I haven't officially made up my mind yet.

Gonna talk to some friend's who own welders first. I like the seats, they look awesome and feel nice but the way they sit bugs me.

Taking them apart isn't an issue for me now that I've done it like a million times.
It's just selling the damn things and finding s2000 seats.

yeah definitely wont be easy why wont you cut your rsx seats the bottom metal part it will drop the seat two or so inches depending how much of the seat you cut off, then weld / screw the rail back in ?
