Default AH S.O.S....Car is running TERRIBLE

Ug so I finally get my car back from the body shop (1994 gsr) and it drives like junk....it intermittently has an enormous lack of power and /or chugs and hesitates...but if the gas is held it suddenly snaps back. It has gone from doing it only at low rpms 2k-3k to doing it at all speeds and all Rpm. Also if it is idling normally and I very lightly tap the gas after it revs up a bit it drops down to about 500 Rpm nearly stalling...but then it just suddenly comes back to life...

Notes-

- I stored the car over the winter (November-May)
- New Plugs/ Wires/ Fuel filter/ Oil/ Filter
-Always run 94 Octane
-Have run 2 bottles of injector cleaner through it since the problem began
- Cap and rotor LOOK good....cleaned the points with emery paper, but am going to replace any way.

If the cap and rotor don’t cut it....what else could it be?

Thanks for your time and thoughts....Help me out here guys and girls

James

RPMS dipping? then coming back to life?

Iits sound like you have to me one of the fallwoing problems

Alternator might be dieing
Cap and rotor might need to be change
Main Rely? im not sure how the thrid generation integra are with their main relays however i remember on the second gens on hot summer days the sodder on the back of the main relay would start to run when it was tooo hot..

this would cause there to be a break in the connection so RPMS would FLUX...
DIP...
eventually car would shut off.

More then likely its your cap and rotor though.

If not cap and rotor, maybe igniter. That was the problem with my B18A. Does it feel like the fuel is cutting in and out? When you going at a steady speed it hesitates? That was what was wrong with mine.

If you have a friend with the same car drop by and install their dizzy. If it solves the problem you know what the culprit is. Moisture and a bad seal on the cap are sometimes the culprit.

its not your cap n rotor, I've had that problem even after a motor swap. its your computer. Its retarding the timing to much when you give it a little gas. I ran a new computer on my car..n it solved it..problem is i didnt have money to buy it back then lol. Try it..its most likely your problem. Another thing to check is your spark plug gap. if ones off it'll do that. 3rd and last thing. Check your air filter. most body shops dont give a ---- how dirty they make your car. so you might have a very dirty air filter. which sometimes will cause that problem. Or maybe IAC. those are my suggestions.

ITS NOT THE IGNITION COIL! LOL! erg try a computer change, then swap on a new filter n try that. could also be a cloged PCV valve. theres lots of things that cause that idle problem.
