abs light

Hello,

My abs light has been turning on recently.
It happens only when its very cold.
Any tips on how to troubleshoot this?
So far I have bleed the ABS and topped up the brake fluid reservoir

You should be able to get the code and it will tell you exacly whats wrong.

Does your ABS kick in? I'm assuming it does. It might be a bad harness or speed sensor that turns it on...(but it should stay on if thats the case) Definately get it checked out, get a code..

If the light is on ABS does NOT work. Just like when the SRS light is on the airbags will NOT go off.

I asked my cousin who is a mechanic about this. Check your ABS sensor. Usually high pressure air will solve this problem as the sensor is sensitive to dust and dirt...
