***The Official D.T.P. Thread***
Need help with your Honda/Acura?
Need a question answered?
Need work done on your ride?
We are D.T.P and we are here to help!
How D.T.P became to be....
Martin started by helping out local friends, people on the forum(s) and then started getting recognition through word of mouth. Martin helps out anyone and everyone that has a passion for cars and wants to learn. We are growing each and everyday.D.T.P has done MANY successful engine swaps, intake/exhaust manifold installs, brake jobs, and much much more.
What is D.T.P?
Stands for "Duct Tape Performance" and is owned by Martin. Don't let the name fool you, although Duct Tape is AWESOME,... we don't fix cars with it
D.T.P does everything from simple oil changes, bulbs replacements and tune-ups to the bigger stuff like engine swaps, clutch jobs and even interior/engine detailing.
Where is D.T.P?
We are located in Vaughn, but we are mobile too. Just give us a link and we can help you out.
Did you get work done at D.T.P?
If so, we would like to thank you and please feel free to post up any and all feedback.

Dtp stickers are in progress.
You don't join dtp, I just help you with what you need. Though I DO ask something in return. Beer!! Lol but you can have some as we work on your car.
Always up to meet people, show everybody that you don't need to take your car to a shop to get simple things done.
To top it all off, if you don't know me in person, don't be shy to pm me with questions. I am a student in centennial college going for power motive technician diploma, so I am receiving formal education, though there is nothing I haven't done on these cars prior to that.
So I can be trusted
(Ryan - don't worry about it... )

Martin Changed my suspension over 5 TIMES!!!!! WITH NO POWER TOOLS!!
In my driveway in 30 degree weather with a beer. Always on time, hell hes at my house before I am.
DTP FTW
May I join the ranks of DTP guys? As I was one of the first evaaaar to get work done.
PS. WHAAAAAAA HAAAAAAAAAPUN martin with the stickers. Need to get around to that mayne
Im thinking of just calling up Shinzo and see what designs they come up so we can get some samples. Then we can contribute to help the TI community.

Unfortunately due to the fact that I don't have vendor status, I'm not allowed to advertise nor "charge" people for the help I provide. That being said, I will not be buying a vendor licence and since its against the rules to "lure" business away from the shops that overcharge for most jobs, there shall be no updates and postings of dtp jobs.
Thanks for support. Much appreciate it.

Sorry to hear Martin, whatever happened to helping out a broke student? Or doing a service for people who dont have the means to pay a hefty car service bill?
This thread was designed to "help" those who were less-educated in the automotive field, thats it. And maybe make this website grow when people see how this community is working together. No matter... rules are rules i guess. It just sucks when good people try to help others....and get shut down.

cant compare the 2. totally different motors. feels like i have a H22 under the hood. the tranny makes it alot of fun...altho you "feel" the motor more with the LS tranny, the GS-R tranny is a riot! The B20 is VERY similar to my old SR20DE motor with cams lol.
The B16A was a fun motor, but not my kinda engine. I like the low-end power more than the top-end buzz.
BUT i ran into a HUGE problem this morning.... for some reason when i ease into 3rd and roll out of the gear.... i lay rubber....HAHAHAHA!

ya bro, doooo ittttt UP! that will be a crazy beast! The B20 BLOWS my old B16A outta the water. Not to say the B16A was crap/tired because its the cleanest B16A i have seen and she didnt burn any oil.... but the torque is too much for it to handle.
