Break suggestions for 96 integra
Hi there,
i have a 96 integra, picture attached.
What are some decent breaks I can put on my car, not doing any racing but drive it pretty hard on the street.
(Have seen alot on EBC but not sure of brands, just know brembo is too expensive even tho thats what i want lol!)
Not looking to spend a fortune becuase the car is pulling and may need breaks rotors and calipers.
The issue i am having is the car is pulling to the drivers side as I break, i was told this is the caliper. It doesnt pull too much while im driving but it is very noticable when i break, especially break hard.
What could this be and what do i do to fix it?
THANKS!

Re: Break suggestions for 96 integra
the mini rotors are bigger, which means better stopping.
Type r calipers can be purchased as remanufatured replacement calipers from most auto parts stores, or any engine importer.
Its like an oem Big break kit upgrade without paying 1000+ for a kit.
While your doing this its a good idea to replace your front breaklines to stanless steel lines, but its not manditory, but since you will be replacing your calipers anyways why not change the lines as well.

Re: Break suggestions for 96 integra
If you want to keep it simple, a good pad, rotor, and good brake fluid will do the trick
Hawk HP+ pads are great pads but on the aggressive side. They produce alot of dust and make alot of noise. A lot of people use them for tracking.
Hawk HPS is a good street option. I have them on my teg with EBC cross dimpled and slotted rotors and they work great. Still a solid pad without the noise or dust
