Well i guess i should start some what a built thread of project "silver trash can". Here's the status of the car, 97 teg that i picked up for 500$ . The car runs perfect and drives ok haha needs a aligment. Next week i'm gonna start to work on her "body work" need to fix my 1/4 panels. I'll take pics of the progress during the whole winter, and this is my DD so i can only do litle at the time. My plans are fix the rust, shave off wing and side moldings, find some type r parts . Gonna repaint the whole car the same color as my old EK hatch a off white color, drop the car on my 15" estroils and i'll be polishing them as well this winter. And well the engine bay will recive a wire tuck and maybe a brake line tuck, i might wrap the engine bay with something crazy lol

well did some work today on the car, striped the car and star looking for all the rust lol . This week i have off so i`ll be fixing the car well here`s a few pic`s enjoy.

Damn thats rusted, but I have seen worse. Have fun doing it, there is nothing like working on your own car and saying I did that.

Hey man thats good and all, i have no idea what it is going to cost BUT there is a guyon another forum selling a 98+ VSM teg shell, but no front spindles, rear lcas or trailing arms BUT only $500 and they will deliver for a bit more..its good to do the work but it may be cost effective to look for another shell depending how serious and what you want to do with it. Just a suggestion,

 

Oh I would love to buy it but I don't have any room to store it. And so far it hasent cost me a cent because a have all the metal I need at my parents.

I have been working on the this week, driver side will be done tomorrow and a few more things and now i have a solid floor no more flenstones special. I have been looking for a exhaust for the car but i guess no one has one kicking around lol. Well here`s a couple pics of the trash can lol

I'm selling a Buddy Club Spec 3 catback exhaust with a welded cat on it that is gutted. The exhaust was $780 new, I'm asking $350 for it

hey buddy, i picked up a vsm teg t boned on pass side door, everything else is there, let me know if you need anything.

 

That would be fun but I don't think I'll be going to Toronto anytime soon. I might come up this summer if there's any good car shows .

How's the pass 1/4 panel look like? And would it have a front camber kit ?

 

Here's a update on the car so far, driver side 1/4 panel and rocker is done till spring. Welded all the holes on the door now so now I just need smooth it all out with some bondo. I did my door panels and arm rest in the same materials as my k20 ek hatch , added a steering wheel and drop the car a litle lol.

 

Not bad at all..ill take a pic tomorrow..but arent u in New Brunswick??
