So two days ago I picked up a 2001 RS. Bought it off a 73 year old man and it was in amazing condition(minus minimal rust).

My 1st step is to get it safe for the road which just needs breaks, calipers and roters. The engine has 280xxx kms but im swapping my other motor in it when this one dies. The enigne in it now is super clean and runs like its new. I drove it from burlington to niagara with no problems. It goes into gear so smooth, I dont even feel it(automatic, i know but hush lol).

The person I bought it from, bought it from Acura on Brant and was the only owner. I feel special.

Even came with a super rare JDM acura on brant hanging smelly thing lol. Those things u hang on your rear view mirror

No, from my old build that I scrapped, I have an engine that has 220xxxkms on it. Durring my old build I was going to make it 5speed so I have collected all the parts I needed to do so. Now that I scrapped my DA, I will put all those parts in my DC to make it 5speed. I got this 01dc for a steal, so I had to pick it up.

 

I know this car. I've done work on it at Acura.

I like to have the luxury of not working while I drive. So ill let the 4speed tranny do it for me. Thanks for your input. Any comments are welcome.

 

But as I did post a couple posts prior, I stated that I am swapping it to five speed. And so what if its automatic, its a friggin honda. Now if I had a auto ferrari, then you can flame it. But its a stinkn honda, even if its a type r, its still worthless. Back off and calm down with the ---- talking.

I picked it up for 1000, he was asking 2000.but he had it for sale for a while so he just let it go.

I need good calipers, rear roters and brakes asap. Then later on ill need VSM doors(coupe), drivers side fender and side moulding(rear pass side).

Ya lmao ill finish it. I AM NOT selling this one lol ill punch myself if I try to. Its mint so I don't need to do anything. Its ready to be modded. But I might not mod it due to school(broke).

Im building it with what I've got. which is the J series and a JDM front. But I might sell the j series to pay for my parking pass at school(109$/month) ------- ripoff. Its not like ill be buying misc. parts like I with with my DA.

 

i can see whatll happen now... "said" J series motor will be "sold" for some random reason and noone will see said motor, and said "JDM front end" noone will see either and will be sold for gummy bears...
