jdm head lights

Default jdm head lights

hey there i have a set of 1 peice head light on my 91 teg and i bought it not to long ago
heres the problem
when i click my lights on the dial 1st click my corners come on my second click still only my corners then my high beams come on normaly also when i put my signals on nothing up front comes on
so my highs and fogs come on like there suppose to but do i just replace the bulbs or what

Check for power with a multimeter.
Also as far as I know, the 1piece headlights use different bulbs.

yea they use H4H (NOT H4 ITS H4H) and you can only really get them online or if your lucky at a jdm store by fluke. I paid $80 shipping and all for my PIAA super whites.

i just checked the bulb number and its 9004

9004=h4
as stated above the 1 piece jdm headlights use h4h. Though from my understanding the h4 bulbs will hook up but light output will be absolutely garbage.

I tried h4's and they sucked ***. I tried modifying them, and that sucked *** too. So I man'd up and bought h4h's. Unbelievably better.

ok but the problem im having is that i have nothing but high beams no lows is this because of the 9004 bulb not being compatable ?

nope... check your wiring again. you should have a high, low and ground/black wire. Make sure all three are hooked up correctly. And DONT just twist and tape the wire together, at least get butt connectors.

i figured it out it was just the bulb i swapped in another set and bam they work just have no signals up front so i have to figure that one out any ideas?
