Default Regan's AKA XNXIXTXRXOX's Build Thread TONS OF PICS

Well here it is. I picked up my 1993 Integra RS back in july last year. BONE STOCK. I'm the offical second owner of the vehicle Its was a really good start to the project. I started with this:

First things first get rid of the ugly ----. Stone chipped bumper and oem headlights. Put in some one pieces and a GSR bumper that was freshly painted.

So my next item on the list was rims. I originally had some nice 17's, but I switched to some MINT SIR 15's And painted my calipers too.

I got brand new bumper lights and tinted them out, and the tails as well. I also fixed a lot of minor/---- cosmetic things (painted wiper blades, windshield moldings, etc.)

Bought some seats for it too, and just got the rails in the mail today

BODY WORK TIME!!! I decided to completely make over my car.

- Shave entire trunk but keep spoiler
- Shave antenna
- Shave RS trim sticker
- Cut and reweld quarter panels
- FIX ALL RUST POSSIBLE!!! I like my bodies MINT!

So here are the pics. First ones are my shave job on the trunk, other ones are as it sits in my buddy's shop getting all the other work done. I can't weld

So after all these things get done here are my plans:

Suspension:

-Koni yellows (have), GC Coilover sleeves (need), BLox LCA's (have)

Exterior:

- New windshield because I hate how pitted this one is. 17 years of stone chips is not cool for me.

- Front lip, as well as custom side skirts/lip and a custom rear lip as well.

- Install my power folding mirrors.... CAN'T FIND A RELAY

Interior:

- Install my new seats

- Finish dyeing carpet and such

- Put in new or dye my rear seats

Engine: TBA

Right now this is what I'm trying to accomplish. The engine is going to done over the winter I'll get some more pics of the engine and other things when the bodywork is all done.

Let me know what you guys think.

So here are some pictures of the left side completed. Just needs to be wet sanded and primed.

The filler used is not bondo or fibre glass. Its the same resin Chevrolet uses when doing fibre glass repair work on corvettes. This stuff is crazy when you look at it up close.

The inner fender got all done as well, I want to make sure this car is gonna be set for a VERY long time. Inside has been primered and sealed.

I hope so The rust was sooo little as you guys saw, but i wanted the metal cut back FAR so that I could assure myself that it wouldn't come back.

Damn straight if your getting the job done make it so it last a long time and so you can assure it's fully gone and you won't have to deal with it for a long time.
