Default Engine Overheats

Hello,

Yesterday i was driving my integra in the rain and noticed my hood started to smoke up. when i opened up the hood to check the engine i noticed that my engine was really hot. My temperature gauge now always reads cold and the radiator fan doesnt turn on. does anyone know what the problem might be?

bad temperature sensor. its not detecting heat and there for not telling the relay to turn on the fan or showing heat in the cluster. I would also replace your thermostat just to be safe, and check your rad cap too.

those are like 5-20 bucks there nothing, but thats not your issue, its your temperature sensor that isnt working. you'll need one of those. im not sure how much those are tho....

so heres what you need:

1. Replace temperature sensor.

2. replace thermostat (dont HAVE TO but i would strongly recommend)

3. Check rad cap while you down there
