Has anyone tried to install Civic SIR fog lights on DC2?

Does the harness with CIvic SIR work with our DC2 or would I need to obtain one?

Also has anyone tried this before?
Seems like they are the same except the lens is yellow.

The harness doesn't go to anything except wires directly to your fusbox under the steerring column and then wires up to your battery. Very simple, but the question is will they mount to your teg, it shouldn't be a problem wiring, but fit might be.

I actually found an article on this, haven't read through it yet but a lot of people actually install the SIR yellow fogs and they look pretty good

Takes a some work unfortunately since they are Civic brackets, but just hoping the wiring is straight forward got the manual for the 94-97 fogs... wonder if those are the same ?

 

I wired up SIR foglights on to my JDM front teg, the wiring will have to be routed through the rubber grommet near the battery to fit (because of the wire length). There should be plugs to plug it in your fuse box, place a ground here too. Run the rest of the wiring under the radiator support brackets. Run a ground to the rad support while you're there. As far as the actual switch, you can mount it by the parking brake, just pop out one of the OEM switch deletes.

For my setup, I spliced them into my JDM headlight harness. Not sure how you'd actaully mount the civic bezels. There are a few articles for JDM foglight wiing that might help.
