I recently bought a 1993 Civic hatchback vx as a shell to swap the engine into. If you want the whole car, take it for $600. You will need a windshield and body work on the drivers side wheel well. Otherwise the car is sound and comes with a Kenwood CD deck, A/C, power steering, etc etc. Anyone that is going to drop an engine in this car knows what their getting. This is a good deal. It also comes with 4 steelies with brand new winter tred, adjustable coil-overs (0.5" to 2" drop), GS-R gauge cluster, carbon fiber type r lip, powered folding mirrors, 1 piece jdm headlights, newer 92-93 style tails (white, yellow and red), and 2 boxes full of replacement parts.
