I hear a hard knock when turning right, also as soon as hit the sidewalk when rolling down my driveway. Sometimes when I accelerate from a dead stop. It is a lot quieter when braking. The sound seems like it is coming from underneath my feet. I have changed my front shocks, cv shafts, ball joints and tie rods. I can't seem to figure it out. All my engine mounts are still good. Ever since I installed the megan racing front lower tie bar it has made this noise. I have bottom out with this tie bar so it is pretty warmped now. I don't know if this crappy tie bar could be the problem. Help me PLEASE :dunno: It driving me :*****: My mechanic says it is my eibach sleeve but I feel that it cannot make this loud of a sound. We put it on the hoist and can't find a thing.

its not the drive shaft..trust me..I have the EXACT same problem, cept when im turning left. PM me! if your interested in meeting up, n we can try n figure it out..cuz im stumped! I changed tie rod ends, drive shafts, bearings, ball joints.

 

how do you know your driveshafts are going?

I have a good feeling its blown shocks, strut mount, or brakes. last things left.

 

Maybe stutmounts or brakes. Do you guys hear this sometimes when accelerating or braking? It's a lower noise but from the same location.

 

Yea, I used to only get it when turning left. Then it started when i was braking, now when i accel its slight, when i brake its LOUD, when i turn its semi loud. and the steering wheel yanks to the left or right sometimes..rarely tho. Im thinkin brakes or shocks now.

 

Brakes then! Everyone mentions the brakes. Some of these guys changed all the parts listed, except the rotors. Hmmm

 

Just like in your other thread, I said driveshaft.

Not all driveshafts that you buy are in good condition unless you bought it new from acura.

 

Man its not the CV shaft! lol I've thru soo many. MY CV shaft is fine. im not going to go out an buy another one, when i've already tried this method:P
