I was looking into this set of coilovers and I noticed the drop rates are like this:

Front- max (-1.6")
min (-3.9")

Rear - max (-0.9")
min (-3.1")

Now, does this mean that the highest I can have the coilovers set to in the front would still be a 1.6" drop from the OEM suspension? Meaning these would be useless if the reason I wanted coilovers is so I could jack them back up for winter time...???

 

Yup - I think it means the overall size of the suspension will be 1.6 inches shorter than stock in the fronts the back follow the same thing fully raised. You should be ok its not that low.

 

I really wanted the coilovers so I can jack the suspension back up to OE heights for the winter time. If that's the case I'd probably be better off saving some money and just going w/ lowering springs, and I can get some adjustable shocks.

 

Its harder to adjust the height with adjustable perch shocks. Also you can raise the coilovers to be alot higher then how you would drive in the summer but with springs if you want to stay higher in the winter youre stuck driving 4x4 style all summer too. Also the coilovers will prob ride better.

 

But the highest I could raise the coilovers would still be a 1.6" drop in the front and a 0.9" drop in the back compared to the OE suspension, correct?

 

Have you thought about koni yellows and ground control coilovers instead? Wheel & Tire Zone in Mississauga?

 

coilovers and winter salt...not a good idea.
