i had that pedal problem before as well. i bled my brakes and whatever, and it didn't help. i had to replace my master cylinder to fix the problem :/

yea i know, that helps a lot.

yup, you have to bleed your brakes, and if that doesn't help after you've done the bleeding it's your brake master cylinder or a ceased piston.

But try to get the bleeder screw lose, spray it first and let it sit over night if it really was that bad.

Yup 10mm, use a wrench, you can get more torque on it.

Master or Slave? I think it could be the slave too...When was the last time you changed your brake fluid? What is the colour of the fluid? If it’s blackish and you haven’t changed it in the past 4 years…go head and change it!!!
Are there any leaks anywhere? Does the fluid level ever go down? Check driver leg area near the pedal on the brake pedal.

For tight nipple (LOL), Spray some anti-seize on it. Also you could take a small piece of cloth and mildly soak it with anti-seize. Place the cloth right on the nipple and let it soak over night. The next day get a 10mm wrench with a long handle and try it. Make sure you get a good grip on the nipple nut as if it slips..it will lead to more problems. If it is too tight try to use the hammer in the open direction (sorry for being a smart *** but had to touch all bases!)

God luck, Keep us posted.
