Default Wheel and Caliper Clearance Issues

I purchased a set of 16x7 +45 Rota Subzeros a little while back but finally had a chance to put them on yesterday. A VERY a short drive told me that there was something definately wrong. After a quick inspection I found that the spokes on the front wheel rub against the caliper.

I'm guessing now that I'll need a set of wheel spacers to sort out the problem. Can anyone help me out on finding exactly what I need? What size spacers? Will I need extended studs? Open end lug nuts? And also where to buy all this stuff?

Thanks in advance!

Spacers are universal (4 or 5 bolt) and are usually in 3mm, 5mm or 10mm thicknesses. You can probably get away with a 3mm spacer and I don't think you'll need to get longer lugs. Which reminds me that I should test those spacers I got for my Koseis ...

Wheel and Tire Zone sell spacers, and I'm sure most wheel places can get them.

The poor man's spacer is just using a washer or 2 on each wheel stud.

Thanks Bryan, I didn't realize they sold 3mm spacers. I'll see what I can find online in terms of stores since I'm not in town.

The wheels are still good. 1 of them has a few scratches on the inside (just paint) but one spoke had a slight gouge. The other wheel was damage free *phew*

i think the rim is ok, just use the spacers and you should be fine even on the stock studs (you can get away with using 3mm less on the threads). clean *** R btw

or... you could get out a file, and file down the area on the caliper that is coming in contact with your rim... its probably just the bracket
