Did a brake job on the TL today, and these were the old pads

If you can call them pads at all.. lol, just was surprised at how low they were, any second they would've been hitting metal. Just thought i would share..

seen people drive on their calipers.

oh man, reminds me of the time when my right rear caliper was seized. Pad looked just like that.

lol i seen worse to....guy was on metal to metal and the metal pad went through the first layer of the roters...so basically u can see the middle of teh rotor......top layer gonneee...and this was on 1 of those company vans

I've gone to change the pads on a car and the backing plate cracked because it was so thin.
