The Fit is a badass car, dont under estimate it, especially since the K swap is quite popular these days :P... and I dont have VTEC either, and its staying that way.

why not just take it to the dealer? if something happens to the car, and they find out that you did an oil change on it, they can be dicks and blame you and void your warranty.

i'm actually looking in to getting a Fit. test drove one last week. meets my needs and it's easy on gas.

They would need to prove that whatever happened was due to the oil change.

I'd take my chances because I have yet to go to a dealership that hasn't managed to f something up. They just don't give a ----.

actually, the manual clearly states that it's not mandatory to going to the dealer to service to keep the warranty intact. just as long as the person is qualified to do so. getting a helms manual I think would make anyone witbasic automotive knowledge pretty qualified. worse comes to worse, they could only deny a claim and give you the run around, but they can't void your warranty.

an A1 service is almost $80 bucks for an oil change and tire rotation. a B1 service is $200 that adds an oil filter and inspection of tire rod ends, boots, fluids, brakes, exhaust, p-brake, etc and tire rotation.

it cycles between the two with more major work like replacing tranny fluid, air/cabin filters, change brake and coolant and plugs and valve clearance coming up. it's a honda afterall and probably isn't going to break anytime soon. something think about.

the fit is a great car. i was so close to ending up with one...
