how does that relate to what he did to zidane? ---- talking is part of soccer if u didnt know, zidane isnt a little kid. materrazzi is there to throw zidane off his game which he did. why isnt anyone looking at videos of zidane? did you not know this isnt his first time headbutting somebody? he headbutted somebody in the head before, take a look at that one. when totti got suspended for spitting in that guys face, no one investigated what made him do that, so why investigate what made zidane headbutt materrazzi?

i hate zidane for what he did. zidane shouldve hit him a bit harder so materrazzi wouldve had to retire from soccer, than i would have called zidane the greatest soccer player within last 10-15 years.

I have actually been doing some digging and I can’t believe how many violent incidences Zidane has had on the pitch. I would hazard a guess, far more the Materazzi.

"There is a history of violent conduct - it's not the first time he has been expelled, it has happened many times before. "

"But his final season at Juventus was soured by a five-match ban for head butting Jochen Kientz during a Champions League game with Hamburg."

"Two-match ban for stamping on Saudi Arabia skipper Fuad Amin in the group stages."

Zidane a.k.a a full grown French mountain goat.

Meh, who cares. Materazzi knew what he was doing, trying to push Zidanes buttons, to possibly get him out of the game, which yes I believe was wrong, but he suceeded. Italy went out to win, Zidane retired by getting a red card, which caused him to be removed from the World Cup final, but i'd have to say, Zidane is just as dirty of a player as Materazzi.

Word... i agree with you but i wouldn't of called zidane the greatest player in the last few years, Materazzi needs to get hard one day.

Wow, I never knew so many people on this board know Materazzi personally. This must be the case if you know what he is thinking when is on the pitch, you think you can get me an autograph?

hahahah - classic.

You dont need to know him personally to know what he is thinking its quite obvious, i mean watch the video again and watch others... you dont think you can rule out what his intent was at that time? His disgusting actions speak very clear that he just plays cheap. Somone needs to elbow him in the face, or injure him the materazzi way

Not true.... Matarazzi's play is questionable however so is the play of the beloved Zidane.

Anyhow, I need to move on with my life, the world cup is over.
