Can somebody tell me what these tubes are called. They were broken when I was removing my b18a1.

Dont tell me "I think they are for this, i think they are for that". I need to know 100% because I am buying them soon

Thanks guys.

The 2 on the right look like coolent hoses, and 1 on the left almost looks like it goes to the PCV.

i removed two very similar hoses from my iac when i cleaned it a few months ago the two on the right

the iac behind the throttle has 2 hoses connected to the bottom they both had a bend and 1 was shorter than the other check the iac to see if they r missing

(idle air control)...

and ya coolant runs through those hoses to ur iac i think so the iac knows when ur thermostat is sending in coolant and the car should rev higher...

with no coolant running thru it ur car reads its warm and the idle control doesn't rev it hi to warm up

thats what ive researched and expirienced anyways im not a mechanic i could be wrong

Its too hard to tell what it could be. The one on the left could be top rad hose. The smaller once could be pcv or iac. Do you remember where abouts they came from? What area of the motor?

I dont remember at all. Im going to got o a mechanic shop and ask them what it is. acura, honda and part source dont know what they are.

All i can say is the big one smells like gas and so does the small one.

I believe the 2 small ones came from the side. But it doesnt really matter. I can just get universal hoses from canadian tire.

I believe the big one came from the bottom of the rad

Just looked at my intake manifold. Those hoses in the link are already there. But on the right side of the mani(opposite side where the intake is) there are 2 metal things that stick out and it looks like my hoses fit there. but my hoses are short, i dont know where they would go.

Ofcourse all different answers...too many possibilities, plus hard to tell just from the pic. Also, lower rad hose is longer.

how big are they? like if you put a toonie in the pic say how large are they? and the one on the left looks like its got insulation around it, and that the actually hose may be smaller.

How big are they. what do you mean. I cant fit my pinkie in the tubes and the 1st one is about 5 inches. the 2nd one is about 3inch and the 3rd one is about 2inch. so they cant run far.

k if you cant fit your pinky in them then there deff not coolant lines, unless by chance you dont have the coolant hose going to your thootle body. i would assume that they are fuel lines, there are a few in the bay, but could be a vaccum line too. but either way that narrows down the search for you. but if some smell like gas then they could be fuel return lines or something.

you should be able too. cus non of them are long enough (if they are fuel lines) to be return lines going to the firewall so yes you should be able too.
