guys selling me this hood. trying to figure out what kind this is.

hes selling it for 300. which is decent, but im not too sure about those grooves.

if u intend to buy it make sure that the groves and everything even out.. i had a VIS cf hood didnt line up looked like ----.. but yeah its a nice hood...

Ya, i think the grooves really stand out and look good. It doesnt hurt to check it out in person.

why dont you just get the oem style one..

IMO i find it has no function.. i mean if it had a vents in the 2 fronts of the grooves it would make sense why the grooves are there.. unless someone can tell me if there is a specific reason why they are there apart from looks.

^ when ur car is moving forward the air goes to the back... by havin the vent that way it lets the air out from under the hood.....

Yea, that's my old hood.. had it on my car for about a week.. then went jdm front, like he said. Looks nice in person, but like tsquared and I talked about, i wasnt really too comfortable selling the hood to him based on some prior damage to his front end that causes serious misalignment issues.. Hopefully he can take his car back to the body shop and have it all taken care of. Maybe then it will come a little closer to fitting properly.. Hope all goes well! good luck!
