I dont care what car it is, its not suppose to rev 2000-4000 then slammed into gear. Thats just asking for problems. Its not meant to be used every single time out of a dig... |
beautifUL!

Carsumer Advocacy? Nissan refuses to replace GT-R owner's busted transmission:
http://www.autoblog.com/2008/10/13/c...owners-busted/ Can someone with a better understanding of this, explain to me what the VDC is responsible for, and why you have to turn it off for launch control? |
VDC is different than any other nissan car (on regular nissans like the 350 vdc is like a traction control like hondas vsa, to my knowledge the VSA the GTR uses monitors many more things)
The GT-R uses a combination of Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) and Traction Control (TC) to offer 2 different driving experiences. When VDC is turned on, it monitors the front wheel turning angle, body roll and wheel spin when going around corners. It will reduce power if needed to stay within pre-determined limits and keep the vehicle connected with the tarmac. When this is turned off, TC becomes available from which the benefits are obvious...faster acceleration. |
basically nissan has the right to fix your car if you take off the vdc, tcs and put the car into race mode.
So lol at GTR owners who think they can abuse the "new car warranty" |
I would rather own a S65 AMG if I had the money lol. And I know its more expensive than the GT-R but people its such a better car, people....lifes hard hahaha, which car do you guys dream of ????

The Gallardo is a great car, very flashy, powerful, handles very well, sounds great but for those reasons it's also not the greatest experience. It isn't one that you can just drive around, you need to mentally prepare for the trip and think over whether the scenario is the right one to take the car to. Think of it like a very expensive cologne, smells great and you wish you could wear it all the time. But after you finally pay for it, you think in your head: "Is it worth using tonight, or should I save it for another day?" |
