thanks jeff, if you want the code to do it, i can give it to ya (gotta have .htaccess available and php on a web host)

i had mod_rewrite actually run a php file, which randomly picks an image, and prints it out, so each refresh could be one of many sigs (7 right now)

it's actually quite simple to do

I like that - actually alot of people have cool sigs on the board.

 

ditto, i used the same technique (going over/outside the border) on a friends sig i made.. nice and clean, simple.

i need to clean up a couple of mine, low quality issues and i don't like them anymore.. and gotta make a few more in their place :P

problem is, with jpg you gotta have solid background (i'm on other forums with various colour bg's)
with gif, it's larger filesize, and the car shadowing will look horrible (no alpha shading)
png is best for shading/etc.. but isn't supported all that well (finally ie7 supports alpha transparency without extra code, took long enough!)

so i tend to stay away from those


and instead of refreshing a lot, lemme post all mine so far.. lol
# 2,3,4 may be removed and i'm gonna make some new ones...
