i was looking for a new front strut tower bar. found a Spoon for $170USD and a used Cusco Type ST for $100. both are good quality parts but since it was cheaper and with it being made all of steel and with steel being more rigid than aluminum i went with the cusco
While Cusco can be considered a fanboi part, Spoon is is at the top of the list. i didn't base my decision on name brand, i did it on quality for the price.

I highly doubt people will throw that kind of cash to someone who is inexperienced, and not fully educated. Here is a link to illustrate what someone in "your profession" would earn. And with the way the economy is going jobs for you will not be around. People are not building anything anymore!!!

that's a load of horse ----. don't use "we live in canada, we have salt, i daily drive my car" as an excuse. the problem is that people don't spend the money on DA's in toronto. the only person i know of who put some decent coin into their g2 is mark and it shows.

it's not necessarily how much money you spend or how much ---- you can put on it, but a well thought of selection parts that will make the car pop and stand out.

Its ------- simple and I don't know why so many of you are ignorant. Most ppl will buy DAs because they can't afford anything else and hence they also can't afford to fix up their DAs either. So who gives a ---- on whether there are no nice looking DAs.

1+ i love spoon an all but my wilwood brake kit costs prob 2/3 as much as spoons (just calipers)but in the end my brakes outperform spoon so im saving $ by stopping faster but not have as much bling as having "spoon brakes" but when i stop a few feet faster and dont have that accident id prefer function over form.
to this day i still get compliments on my brakes. i wouldnt trade my wilwoods for spoon calipers in a million years

I wanna pick up the wilwoods too.. but im not 100% sure on the fitment, and I dont wanna get wstuck with something I cant use, I was thinking stop tech, but Im not sure what size wheel clearance... as I am going to be running all 16's.

i ran my 16x7's w/o wheels spacers but the caliper rubbed the wheel weights so 1/4" spacer and you should be good. when i ordered mine all i knew is they would fit some 16's and that the dc brakes were the same as the Da.. i got lucky as the kits for a DC

stoptech kit is a 12.9" rotor. won't fit under a 16" wheel.
the wilwood kit with SS lines DOT5.1 fluid and a 1"MC/BB will be plenty good for your build

I'm not boosting my car so my car has NOTHING to do with this conversation, but hey if you really want to bring my car into this conversation then we shall. My works are just the icing on the cake to my car. I have a lot more parts that cost more than most of the DA's I see on the streets (not being cocky). My regas alone can buy 2 DA's. I'm not going to bring up the rest the parts I have. If so, Can you please post a picture of a DA on here that looks better than mine? I don't even have half the parts on my car now and it still looks better than every DA ive seen posted on this forum.

BTW i'm not selling Knock off CH parts, i'm a direct competitor. now because there's more than one company selling extensions and shift *****, their competition becomes a knock off? call it what you want, it's the same quality just not at Fanboi prices.

HAHAHA you make me laugh. you're taking the BHG's opinion on cars. the biggest hater that's ever logged in to TI in it's history, a true end result of too much H-T and fuzzy's and dc24me's definition of a clean DA, which both include "real wheels"
so apparently we can take a DA and make a Richie cake (incase you forgot... icing = fanboi wheels and cake = $1500 rotted shell). by simply thowing on wheels that cost as much or more than the car.
i know BHG hates my car, dc24me isn't a big fan of it and fuzzy doesn't mind it but their opinions, not that it matters but they all come back to 1 common denominator. the wheels. OMG the one thing i don't have!!! I R so SAD it only brings me back to my original point.

it only brings me back to my original point.sorry i don't think your car is all that. even if it had real wheels which you think is the only denominator that i use to define clean, i still wouldn't think much of it. but that doesn't really matter, because you don't care what others think anyway, right?
