Here are the pics of my 2000 SiR (B16A2) during the past 2 weeks undergoing it's rally-car transformation:

Enjoy! :)

Would like to hear your thoughts/opinions. Good or bad! :p

Thanks for looking. :)

The stance is growing on me, i must admit. That car would be uber fun to take off road tho. but then again, you do that every night when you head home form work HAHAHA!

Looks awesome, hows the ride?

Also need these mud flaps

Looking good. Do you have the ducts directed to cool a specific part or just force air in behind the bumper?

D.T.P 07-20-2010 10:16 AM

I believe those ducts are supposed to cool down your breaks a little.
just need more piping to feed it directly to the caliper

MPR 07-20-2010 11:05 AM

Forgot to mention about the ducts. The one on the passenger side will be routed to a custom airbox for the short-ram intake, which I'll be making next. The other side, I'm not sure yet.

Thanks for the nice comments.

I was seriously expecting to get ripped on...lol.

The car rides awesome. The springs are giving a higher/stiffer rate now. It actually rides smoother because it's not so close to the bump-stops anymore. haha. Body roll is about the same. I think there's some tri-pod action under hard-cornering, but thats to be expected.

It's nice to be able to blow over speed bumps and rail-way tracks without bouncing off the road or scraping the exhaust! Will be much more driveable in the winter too.

I got em from CSC in Newmarket. They sell all kinds of racing equipment and components. They build full tube-chassis and cages in their back shop.

Won't actually be racing it in rally events. It's mainly to make the car more practical for the type of driving I do and the conditions I drive in. And to be different. :)
