My first da.. The best damn car I have ever owned. I bought the car with just under 180xxx last year, and it now has 240xxx. Engine runs strong just the synchros in the tranny are fudged. The car is going off the road in a couple of months and is getting a new motor, tranny, and clutch. Thinking of b20... just playing with the idea...

dont mind Richie he means well, he just has this problem....you know the verbal diareha.....ya is pretty bad, he might die from it, the doc says he has like 2 weeks to live

 

Thanks Cheetah and Reza, I like to hear others opinions. The interior is getting completely redone in the winter and im not totally sure what im going to do with the tails yet.. But they are going to get changed.. too hard to see during the day.

g2 tegg who did you buy that car off of? Tyler used to own it when it had a full body kit and show car. Iuno if your is that car, if it is i got the motor and tranny and header that was in that car, anyways im from st.catharines too. we should get together i got tons of parts if you need anything. im from st.catharines too we should meet up one day.

my da is bogging like ---- and not making power over 3000 rpms it cuts out and backfires and when i first start it it boggs and pops then it idles ok?

i narrowed it down to
1 set screw in dizzy is loose or fell off
2 ignition coil rotor and cap
3 fuel filter may be clogged
4 ground wires. i used a ground off my friend 92 gs it ran mint after i put the ground on. The ground wasnt new or anything so maybe im missing grounds.
5 my nut and bolt where the header meets exhaust is loose only the 1 so air is getting in which could cause this problem. thats all i can think of my engine light is on so.

 

well c tommrow night. when i fix it.

 

what coils are you guys running... Pro-s or Pro-C or something else... and hows the ride?

i got goldline springs 2.5 drop with tockio blues brand new been using them for like 3 days now. full poly eurothayne bushing kit dam does it make a big difference on how the car rides.

Yes I was at the Ruckiss Rydez show and I was actually part of the club.. lol It took me a while but clubs are pretty much a waste of time. So I got out of it. I hang out with Second Glance quite a bit, but thats it.. No more clubs for me.

1sickda - No I didnt buy the car from Tyler. I used to work with him though, and almost bought the car without the engine. The last I heard he sold the shell to some kid in St. Catharines.That was a sweet engine in that car though!! I didnt have the money at the time for it. What parts do you have laying around?? Give me a shout sometime I hang out at timmes on Lake street once in a while if your ever in the area.


What do you guys think of Rota rims? A friend of mine has a set in perfect condition for cheap.. I just dont know how 15" will look on my car.. Here is a pic I found online.

i have no problem with rota, but alot of ppl here don't like them for the simple fact that they make knock offs of everything, blah blah blah. 15's will look fine as long as you have the right drop

I like Rotas they are just fine, not everyone can afford the real thing, so imo, why not go with them, ya someof the rims are heavy kinda, but does it really make a whole lot of difference for someone sriving on the street, if yout rack your car its different, but on the street? not so much, go with what you like and what your pocket book allows, dont do things because the JDM fabois say so, oh and that pics looks like gram lights no, unless Rota has taken it a little far? dont know but i like the wheels
