Pictures from my Euro trip (mega post!)
here's the rest of the pics from the trip; i personally liked England the best but Scotland was beautiful and the louve in paris was pretty sick.
London, England
first day after getting there i went to the london tower
battleship that's been restored
stairs on london tower
random ancor
the tower at night
diden't need a car there, you can get anywhere with the train. since i stayed at my cousin's flat in south london, we took this badboy into central london to take the underground
the area i stayed at:
taken from the window at the flat, UKDM lude yO!
honda Jazz's were big over there, i must say that neiler was right, everyone and their mom drives either a bmw or audi, they are like cavaliler's over there!
next day i headed over to St.Paul's catherdral(sp?) unfortunally, photography wasen't allowed inside...but i managed to snap a pic of the roof because it was simply amazing.
it's something like 600 and some odd steps to the top; and you can only stop in the middle and then continue up. there was no elevator, and the steps were VERY steep all spiriling upward, holy ---- was that ever a hike with a ---- ton of camera gear on my back and a tripod in my hand; not to mension that i could barley fit in the stairway with my camera bag on my side (and i'm only 5'5 120lbs soaking wet!) . but it was worth it cause it made for these pics:
in the middle stop on the hike upward (seemed like i was walking to heaven!haha) i had to get a picture of the roof of the cathedral, it was stunning...
next we went to parliment and big ben and westminster abby (diden't go in tho)....
CREEPA PIC!
CREEPA PIC!
cool gargoyle/rain gutter
stopped for a macro pic and then headed home..

here's the main reason for the trip, my close cousin got married down there, it was a traditional english wedding, and the reception was in a pub (no pics of the pub cause i was wayyyy to drunk..lol) it was a small wedding, and she diden't hire a photographer so that's where i stepped in, got my feet wet when it comes to shooting weddings, here's a couple:
my cousin (the bride) her husband, and some school friend of hers
so after the wedding, the next day we headed to Scotland --- beautiful place!
we stayed in Edinberg, but were only in scotland for 2 days, the first day we drove all the way west to the cost, and then the next day drove all the way to the top of scotland to a place called "wick" to where my gf's grandfather was born and grew up; he passed away a week before we left for England.
and the hooptie! who knew a RHD 1.3ltr diesel skoda could go 180km/h! hahaahahhaah i did manage to get a speeding ticket in scotland by one of those photocamera things, but the rental company said that it won't stick.
there were castles all over the place, saw so many of them. the roads there were crazy tho! i'm not even kidding, imagine inital D in real life in a damn skoda! except no guard rails and a cliff 200ft down into the ocean. oh and some crazy euro dood in an 18wheeler 20cm away from your rear bumper. o_O
we stopped on this reallllyy long bridge because we heard that you might be able to see whales off of it; but we diden't, so i took this
so that was it for scotland; so we flew back to england to catch a flight to paris
Paris:
this is why i love europe, it is illegal to hold a cell phone to your head while driving or riding a bike....this guy gave a good example as the cops caught him riding a bike and on his cell phone, they diden't hesitate to hold up a busy street to hand him a ticket..LOL
they had alot of street performers, these guys were pretty cool, break dancing to michael jackson hits
i have no idea what the hell these were, but i thought they were funny; in the window of some comic book store
and the tower:
that's it for tonight, i just have the pics from the Louve, got some pretty good ones of the mona lisa, venus di milo, and some other famous paintings and sculptures. i'll post those up tomorow night.

cool pictures
i still remember in London i asked for "washroom" and they looked at my asian face like i was some kinda alien..
i also remember i never got to go to the 3rd floor of the tower cuz i thought i was able to walk up there.. but the stairs were locked after 2nd floor..and there was no elevator from 2nd to the top! that's the thing i regret the most when i think about my past trip to Paris...

Wow Jason I'm impressed by the quality of your pics! Good stuff!
I'm leaving for my mini Euro trip next Thursday evening, for 2 weeks.
Paris is one of our stops.
I'll put up pics on my FB of some of the fun places we went to....
