Haha my bad homie, the green car with the picnic bench that can be used as a book shelf, let's do it in the west staircase on the lower level of earl haig's cafeteria. You can bring sameer and we'll battle like you claimed you seen me. Haha find me in the yearbook yet?

Remember I had the s2k in the parking lot, took all the attention away from you trying to get bitches in your integra pumping your techno beats :P

FuzzyLS BRO 03-18-2009 03:38 PM

^yo don't hate, i know it was you skipping class all the time to break dance at the bottom of the circular staircase, with your CD player and computer speakers and 4 extention cords put together because there was no outlet nearby..lol

supercharge it everyone is going turbo

This is a 2 litre Civic motor running with a VORTECH supercharger located in place of the air conditioning pump. Drive is via a custom crank pulley and toothed belt. Intake manifold and head is B16A. Power to the wheels at sea level is 479 hp at 8500 RPM. The intake charge is cooled by iced water. This chart is made in Excel. the power figures were graphed every 250 RPM and the torque curve calculated from the power. (torque was not given to us) This tends to smooth the chart a little.

The boost curve on Vortec superchargers is proportional to RPM. The higher you can rev your car, the more boost you get. As a result Vortech superchargers typically move your torque peak up 750-1000 rpm from stock. It is a good idea to build your engine to handle higher RPMs. By comparison, turbochargers typically move your torque peak down 750-1000 rpm, due mainly to exhaust restriction.

and how much did that setup cost? a proper turbo kit can be put together that will yeild much better torque and hp numbers for less, if not the same amount of coin for a proper SC setup.

not to mension, that the dyno you posted was not on a stock motor, that setup must have had the proper supporting mods like a quality big tube header, 3inch exhaust atleast, perhaps cams and other motor work; not only that, but cooling your charge air with ice water isn't really that dailyable now is it? I would bet that most of the power achieved was due to the 2.0ltr block.
