you learn to get used to it. show cars are built to score points, there's no consistency. Judges don't believe the "Function is Fashion" theory.
you're car is a go car anyways. that thing may take home a 4-6 foot tall piece of plastic and wood but yours would smoke it on any piece of pavement and that's what you built it for.
if it's any consolation to you, I lost best integra to this:
what you see is what it had. didn't help that the owner of the car showed up with a judge to try an pick apart my car. he was trying to point out ---- that was apparently stock or from ebay. he point in to the car and said "stock shifter, and ebay ****" i quickly corrected him by saying "B&M Shifter, Spoon **** and JDM ITR boot. he then said "ebay coilovers" so i said "wrong! Try Tein SS coilovers. you should actually look next time or you wanna keep going with this?"
it did no good, the judge didn't ask me any questions about my car, gave it the once over and that was it. the way i look at it is, if he's that hurting for a ------- trophy, let him take it. it's obviously more important to him than it was to me.

That's a 1993 RHD 5 Spd Toyota Mark II twin-turbo.
That car is Mostly used for drifting when people get their hands on. Some try the vip style but it doesn't look nice imo.
Only thing that the car is missing is a different set of rims. the stickers are there to promote their shop. Car is for sale $25g's!. Too much.

Wuz zup boys, long time.........
He won due to the fact they he has the Word Japan on the door, which could only and truely mean JDM.
Plus...a 4 door would only narurally get twice the amount of points than a 2 door.
lol
Correct me if Im wrong, but are those jdm side markers on the TOP of the front corner panels?

I guess I have a hard time understanding why anyone cares if they win or not but what is the real reason to lend any thought to how you placed at a show?
Is there a money prize? Especially one which would offset the cost of building the cars in the first place? The only reason I could think to fuss about it would be if it was a financial thing.
Really, is anyone going to remember which car won a week from now? Not likely.
Just enjoy your car and take it to the track instead of parking it at a show.

but the same would apply to any sport, or hobby then...everything involves time, and money...winning a Trophy for most people in any hobby, or sport means a lot.

ya that happened to me at a small car show east of hamilton. when they said his name i was like WTF? an then LOL'd. couple of my friends got pissed and came up to me saying WTF? i just told them it just a trophy and he wanted it bad enough that he brought a judge over. a piece of wood and plastic really isn't worth the effort for me. i had a good day in the sun chilling with friends anyways and a good parking spot too.

hehe. Chris and Craig its just funny how shows are, i'm over it now. You know if it was a decent caliber car I wouldn't have said nothing, but honestly this was just hilarious. So I posted it online and let everyone see how funny show judging is.

^ No the judge was Dave Pankew...from pas mag...one ------- retard...He has had a personal grudge with Paul from 3yrs ago...when he worked for modified mag..he presented his cockyness towards Paul's car cause it had a monster list of authentic mods to the gtr...we some close friends Paul have seen this hate towards him, from Dave..and I personally think, he let his emotions get in the way when it came time to judge the car...which is not cool.

Honestly let's not judge, I don't know what happened. It could be that we weren't even judged at all, cause not one of our cars won that night. It could've been related to sponsor's pay more for space, so they would win over private entries.
