I'm kinda amazed though too that there is no drifting ... considering the guy driving the Hachiroku is Tsuchiya Keiichi after all. For those who don't know, he is the Drift King .. and he also has a small cameo in Initial D

no surprise to me, the AE86 is much more suited for that course... and if you watch his steering, you can see that he is somewhat drifting a bit cuz you see a lot of countersteer in the curves!

 

dont forget it was a downhill touge match as well. i'm sure the outcome would be different if it was uphill.

i gotta have faith in the 86...they're downhill monsters. the skyline would eat it uphill tho and that cuz it's boosted and has more torque
