How ridiculous...honestly people will always find ways to make others feel sorry for them.
You heard what that segment said, that cop knew first hand about Emo kids because his daughter is one....to me that just says, parents don't pay enough attention to their kids. Maybe I'm wrong but thats the way I view "emo kids"

These are just kids trying to find their identity and expressing themselves through their clothes, the music they listen to, the hairstyles they keep, etc, etc. In my opinion they are no different then the want-a-be thugs I see everywhere, its just different ends of the self identity spectrum.

Very good point, thugs also cut themselves for the hell of it, and try to commit suicide.....

The action is not the point; I would have thought that was obvious. Emo's cut themselves; want-a-be thugs perform other self deprecating actions. The reasons behind these sorts of behaviours are very similar regardless if the behaviours themselves are not.

i'd have to disagree there, because in NO way attempting to, or pretending to take your own life a way to "express yourself". i have absolutely zero respect for anyone who treats that kind of ---- like a joke.
