Default No e-test for older vehicals?? why??

I constantly see older trucks/cars that dont require an e-test blowing the most smog/smoke then any other vehical on the road. I think there should be some sort of e-test for older vehicals, its those vehicals that are "killing our green earth". discuss

I was behind this guy for maybe 2 minutes and had to pull over the smell was so bad I couldn't breath. The truck looks like it was from the early seventys with no brake lights.. idiot..
P.S. my work van sounds like a drag car lol

Heavy equipment get tested yearly! my tractor truck does! also not all of Ontario has the drive clean program...Arnprior is 45 kms from Ottawa and anything beyond that point on highway 17 is not in the drive clean program..we live in the " Smog Corridor " so we have to get the shaft...besides cars have it easy here...

I have to put my Tractor threw 7 tests a yr, 1 here and 6 from the States that I required a license for my truck to make money if I don't I can't enter that specific state! Big fines there compared to here! But what can you do,gotta make a living somehow!Mind you mine is not a POS like the 1 in the video..

I see...good way for the testing facility to get caught maybe...old car with new car readings Ministry will eventually say WTF...people will do anything for the all mighty dollar!

would be sad for the owner of a test center to get canned because of a crooked employee he doesn't know about till it's to late. Not saying they're all angels!

As far as I know, they're changing the laws in 2009...

Current:
3 Years or newer, no e-test
4 Years or older, e-test every other year

New:
5 Years or newer, no e-test
6 Years or older, e-test every year

So if you buy your fake e-tests for whatever reason, have fun spending $200+ every year.

Just did mine last night at crappys and actually passed.. My readings were close to the limit, but then again I was running shitty fuel, needing a oil change, old cat and a dirty egr. But at least its done and over with for 2 years .

Methyl Hydrate is the name...and don't use higher octane useless your engine requires it..more heat is created with higher octane fuel ..it burns slower not faster!!

usually id say the same but it actually helps to prevent knock, not improve power output... but ya other than that just use 87 unless its high compression.
