Default db7 project

Hey guys, I"m new to the site, I live in Stratford and here is my project in progress... So far I bought my car (a 95 db7) and it was purple with lots of scratches, and side moulindings were popping up on both sides, andways a girl hit the car and scratched the front bumper to ----...insurance fixed this however the bumper was now painted a slightly different colour than the rest of the car due to the lack of an available colour code for the custom purple of which my car was.

This winter I parked the car and said screw it, I was going to fix these problems... A couple months, lots of sandpaper, fiberglass, body filler, and a bit of primer later I give you the car as it sits before winter, and now in my garage.

The car is going championship white (that is unless I change my mind..again) Let me know what u guys think... o ya and here is a picture of my interior (not to be a picture ----- or anything, it's just my fav. part of the car)

Good job on the DIY work.

If you're going championship white (so cool!) do a JDM front to truly be unique. I <3 JDM front ends, they're so rare!

Good to see more people modding sedans! But personally I would have kept it the same stock color instead of going CW. That color is so beaten to death.

Keep us updated on your build though. I wanna see how it turns out in the end.

Hey guys, just to clear some stuff up, The car is not painted yet, I just finished all the body work, and what you are seeing in the pictures is grey high build primer... It will be getting painted this spring in my friends garage because he has more experience than me and a way nicer spray gun with a moisture catch can. His garage also has a built in fan, and a bigger compressor than me so all painting will be done there. Thank you guys for all the comments, and I would go jdm front end if I had a good job and didn't just apply to college for 07. But maybe during my co-op term I can rake in some more cash and add a few more goodies (Engine work is next though). I like the usdm 94-97 front just fine anyways

Hey does anyone know of a good place to get a pair of rota slipstreams or any other brand of spoon replica in 4x100 for a decent price? Or is anyone on here selling a similar set of wheels in 15" or 16"? Thanks guys

Ya I went to their store and they advised against ordering rota from anywhere this season due to extremely high pricing in Canada because of all the knock off's, so I was just looking for a place that maybe has something in stock from last season. (Doesn't have to be rota)

Hey guys, thanks for the link to those drag wheels, looks like a good deal...
Today I priced out some championship white paint at $332.36 a gallon,
Do you guys think I would need two gallons to do everything over the grey primer including door jams etc...? Is this price good?
Thanks guys

And April a db photoshoot would be a pretty sweet idea!
PM'd about the wheels as well.

Hey guys, I'm picking up some rota c8's in bronze this weekend for the car, I'll post pictures as soon as I take them, and I should be ordering the paint in the next few weeks...I think the bronze wheels will look sick on the CW paint.

lol love that CW, Yeah a lot of the ontario members of Team-integra seem to be members on here or something as well because there is a thread in there about meets being at the kennedy commons? But a lot of the members drive huge distances to do whats called "The dragons run" basically a huge group ride along this road that winds up and down the mountains on the tennessee boarder, looks like it would be a lot of fun.

Today I wet sanded all the primer, just to get it nice and smooth, and went and ordered my CW paint/clear/reducer/hardner for next week.
I am probably starting to paint next weekend.
I also fabbed up a cold air intake today using my short ram, and some pvc pipe, so that my filter is infront of the passenger wheel well inside the fender. I also picked up an oem honda symbol and badge, as well as finished bolting up the seats, and seatbelts...It's soo close to being done I can taste it .

My buddy backed out of painting my car, but I found a shop that will paint it, and it's booked for tuesday. Apparently this guy does really good work, and his prices are amazing...It's a place called Owen's auto body here in Stratford...Anyways, I'll post some pictures as soon as I get it back, and then again after it's dropped with the lip back on, and everything bolted up.
Oh yeah did I mention he's adding another coat of high build, sanding that, paint and clear + wet sanding for $500!!!!!!! and all his work is guaranteed. Cheers

Ya, but around here I've never seen another CW integra, and I really like the colour...plus I already have the paint sitting here beside me.... It's a done deal. Maybe next time I'll do something different.
