but the valve cover looks awesome!!! one of the best i seen so far

i wanna do my valve cover aswell, but i've gotta clean it up so its all smooth, shud i sand it down or jus sand blast it, or get a new valve cover

 

My gf is Japanese.. it's just normal for me. So I guess that's why it doesn't make sense to you guys but it's a no no for me. lol. Buttt, as I said though looks good, like you spend your time doing it properly. I wish I was creative enough to do anything like that to my car.

Chill out, there's lots of stuff I like and as I said I appreciate the work and creativity he put into it, it does look well done and very unique, just not my style.

****'s were never terrorists, no matter how you look at it. That's just an American term for our generation for labeling people against their country.

Also, Japan was an Imperialist country when the Rising Sun was around, which means they had the same mind set as the ****'s "We are the best, and better than everyone and every country." I may be mistaken, but I'm almost sure they were allied with the Germans in WW2. So.. terrorists? Not really.. at war?.. Definitely.

Once they got hit with an atomic bomb in World War II by the United States, and near the end of World War 2 is when they changed their ways and the way their country's government operated, hence why they are now Allied with USA and have a fairly strong bond with them.

Read a book or two people.. just because you like Japanese cars don't mean you know much about japan. Stop trying to defend the Rising Sun valve cover miss_jess, because you did yours that way too without knowing anything before you did it.

You painted the valve cover nicely, DONE. Take your beef for the symbol to pms.

 

Looks like a lot of work went into the valve cover, whatever the design.
Like or dislike, it obviously took time, effort and patience to make it. Good work.

Perhaps Datenshi's point could have been made with a little more finesse, but he stated his opinion and what he believes to be true, obviously based on something. If someone proves it false, then we all gain a history lesson.
And really, who doesn't love history!



If something is posted, be prepared for the positive and the negative...because you know that people are going to state an opinion, especially when they're behind a keyboard.
