So since my 2nd EG is going bye bye due to me needing a vehicle within the next 2 weeks for school/work and so much random ---- broken/missing from my EG I found myself another vehicle...but sadly not an EG, something better?

1997 Acura Integra GS
280xxxkm on the body
160-190xxxkm on the engine (was replaced in the past for unknown reason but pulls hard and doesn't burn oil)
Full leather interior
Power everything
Black on black tint/black leather
Ugly *** 17 inch rims but 15 inch Konig Maxair are being thrown into the deal (rota slipstreams for those wondering)
Everything else is basically stock

couple pics from my buddies facebook, but more to come of the progress...

Car just needs a safety (should pass though) and then plates

Plans: replica 1997 USDM ITR

PMR engine/ITR tranny/Apex'i WS2 catback
Full suspension setup (coilovers, front upper/rear lower control arms, sway bars/strut bars)
ITR seats/cluster/center console
ITR front/side/rear lip kit + ITR wing.

Pretty basic, keeping it simple but clean.

From rice:

After some monies and parts later, its slowly getting there.
To nice:

Yeah, original odometer

^^ LOL yup you have, I'm in Cambridge.

I'll be going low soon once tax return and a couple more pay checks come in. Can't go too low, my front lip scraps a bit as it is when I come up the driveway at an angle.

Rims are 15x6.5 +38 Konig Maxxair.

Also for the rest of my car I have the following/will be getting:

Engine/Transmission:
B18C1 block and internals
B16A PR3 .030" oversized pistons
Fidanza lightweight flywheel (8lbs)
Bully stage 1 clutch (carbon/kevlar)

B16A PR3 head
ITR valvetrain (springs/retainers/camshafts)
SKunk2 pro series cam gears
ITR intake manifold and TB
Port/Polished head
Hytech rep 4-1 header with 2.5 inch collector
Shaved/polished valve cover
Apex'i World Sport 2 catback

ITR LSD transmission with 4.785 FD

Suspension:
Full body coilovers (still deciding on which ones to get)
Megan racing RLCA (red)
Skunk2 Pro front upper control arms (red)
ITR front upper strut bar

Wheels/Tires:
15x6.5 Konig Maxxair with P195/55R15 General Exclaim UHP tires
Might be getting a set of Rota Track R black/polished lip 15x7 +35

Exterior:
USDM ITR front lip
JDM ITR spoiler
*coming soon*
ITR optional side skirts and rear valence
JDM ITR front end conversion (maybe)

Interior:
JDM ITR cluster with GS red needles and odometer
PasswordJDM ITR shift boot
*coming soon*
ITR seats (front and rear)
Black cloth headliner/sun visors/sunroof
Black painted upper interior panels

I think that's everything.

Oh thats cool...i thought you were doing this as a project to race or something.

Just seeing as how the chassis rigidity on the type r is considerably different then a regular integra it would have made sense to start on that platform.

But yeah if this is for a street car then cool beans...at least you can do it your way.

Its a street car/weekend warrior. Regardless, you can stiffen the chassis on both shells and have nearly the same results.

Most of the ITR's stiffness of the chassis is in the wheel wells and roof. Its just built slightly different. Ahh, it would be beast if you seam welded the chassis around the wheel wells and such. SICK

Hmm, I DO have a buddy that can weld ---- up amazing. Maybe he can fab up some chassis reinforcement to mount behind my front fenders and then we can rivet up my pinch welds for the unibody.

Thats what Im talking about!

For the hell me and a buddy of mine wanted to do it just to toy around with the Teg and see what we can get out of it. We were gonna do the wheel wells, parts of the roof, and so on just to stiffen it up.

You have a nice build going on man, keep it up

Is it passwordJDM selling those braces that go behind the front fenders? Their suppose to stiffen that front end right up! If someone can find it, lemme know.

Link to where I can buy said amber corners!

No dice on 98+ parts, this is purely a 97 ITR replica.
