this may be a dumb question, however is that a dealer option or is that all aftermarket?

this will be an option for the Saturn Sky and the Solstice

and $60,000 was probably some homemade custom job that he spent thousands on

This will be an $16,000 option which will look tlike the first pic....

$31,500 base car price +$16,000 = $47000

The one i saw in the trader was $64000 and was listed as a rare factory option for the solsitice to have the vette engine in it. It was like 1 of 60 produced in canada, something to that effect. I was just browsing through trader cause i was curious to see how much they go for and was like wtf???? 60 g's??????? Maybe they produced a set of prototypes to be sold to test the popularity of the option. I dunno....

heres a link that i think produced that solstice

http://www.mallettcars.com/news-5-26-05-v8solstice.htm

Ya.... mallet is to solstice's like mugen is to honda..... They do work at there own factory and charge a lot more for there work.....and there only using a LS2.....LS2 is a 400hp 400tq motor and all the suspension goodies and stuff like that....

GM will be using the LS7 out of the Z06.....505hp 485q and it will be 15% of production solstice and sky produced

If it comes with an LS7 the exhaust fumes alone will be nicer than the entire s2k
