Default Limited Edition Rays Wheel for the ITR, yay or nay?

They remind me of the Nismo wheels. I like it! Too bad its only for 5 bolt applications.

I think its exclusive to Evasivemotorsports. They say they only have 10 sets of them in stock.

Specs:16x7 +42 5x114.3 12.6 lbs

Those kind of remind me of Nismo LMGT4's, we bought a set of LMGT4 for a friend but Limted Editions which they made 200 of total.

I like it because its a simple wheel in a classic silver finish. Cant go wrong with that style on any car really.

Agreed but I don't like how they look on the integra, doesn't suit it as some other rims do.

Those rims are timeless! I love the polished/silver 5 star look. I wouldve gotten polished/silver slips on my teg if i kept it.

Those volks look small for some reason on the teg.

The nismos however look sick on the 350z!

Forging is considered to be the best wheel manufacturing technique, forging allows for the compression of an aluminum billet (one solid piece of aluminum) into an aluminum wheel using over 13 million pounds of pressure combined with heat. This produces a wheel that is both stronger and lighter then your standard aluminum wheel.

Forging is a manufacturing process where metal is pressed, pounded or squeezed under great pressure into high strength parts known as forgings. The process is normally (but not always) performed hot by preheating the metal to a desired temperature before it is worked. It is important to note that the forging process is entirely different from the casting process (normal rims), as metal used to make forged parts is never melted and poured (as in the casting process).
The forging process can create parts that are stronger than those manufactured by any other metalworking process. This is why forgings are almost always used where reliability and human safety are critical. Just about any metal can be forged. However, some of the most common metals include: aluminum; carbon, alloy and stainless steels; very hard tool steels; titanium; brass and copper; and high-temperature alloys which contain cobalt, nickel or molybdenum. Each metal has distinct strength or weight characteristics that best apply to specific parts as determined by the customer.

well there's cast and then there's forged. in the casting process, they make the wheel out of an aloy and compress it, however this results in alot of tiny air bubbles making it weaker and requiring more material which turns out a heavier product.

forging is made out of one block of aluminum, then compressed like suhk said, this turns out a stronger and much lighter product.
