Insane Custom Built Car
Check this out guys, I think some of you hard core tuners would find this an interesting read. A member of C7 who used to own a Boosted GT-S built his own car from pretty much scratch. The post is a lil long, but well worth the read and has tones of pics. He had to get his own VIN and the car is classified as a home built car, not a Toyota/Honda or whatever.

War must have money to burn, but he gets full marks from me for originality cause that car looks sick and is gonna be crazy fast.

He can't because he actually widened and modified the frame of the car to fit his wide body kit as well as the hood to fit the 2ZZ-GE (00-05 Celica GT-S motor) and his turbo and exhaust setup.
The basic sub-frame was from an MR2 Spyder, but the entire car from the modified frame to wiring to suspension to powertrain to interior and exterior panels is all custom.

^not on the MR-S, it's alot smaller, lighter car than the celica, so they put a more powerful motor into the celica GTS. that motor drops into the MR2 spyder and from what i hear, is quick as fock once you do it.
